Based on industry leading scanning technology, the fi-7030 defines a complete capture solution that allows the user to easily digitise paper documents, classify and verify content and validate files. Using the fi-7030 solution all of this can be accomplished in an integrated but interruptible logical workflow routine that allows for collecting several documents into a single case file on different occasions.

On screen, the user interface is provided by PaperStream Capture, a newly developed high performance document capture application that enables the fi-7030 to serve as an out-of-the-box document capture solution. PaperStream Capture is easy to operate because it features a simplified user interface similar to those of mobile apps optimised for touch screens. First time users will appreciate its intuitiveness.

The fi-7030 can scan at speeds of 27 pages per minute (ppm) or 54 images per minute (ipm) at 300 dpi in A4 portrait mode. When higher resolutions are needed operators can select up to 600 dpi. The fi-7030 handles different sized sheets from A8 to A4 and differences in materials. It is operated through USB Type-B connection.
